About the Ross Law Firm

The Ross Law Firm, founded in 2007 by David G. Ross, provides a variety of services for franchised and non-franchised businesses. Having been exposed to numerous franchise issues, systems, and industries, our attorneys understand that franchisees operate on an often uneven playing field. We know that franchise agreements – which are written by franchisors and for franchisors – often “rig the game” against the franchisee. We also know that a franchisee who wishes to stand a chance in this game should rely on lawyers who are primarily franchise lawyers and who are fiercely devoted to franchisee rights. We are those lawyers.

It’s not just an understanding of franchise law that sets us apart, however. Our substantial experience in business law and employment law matters that are not necessarily franchise-specific enables us to confront a wide array of issues relevant to franchisees and independent business owners alike.

Broadly stated, our mission is to increase our clients’ chances of business success – whether by painstakingly reviewing franchise contracts and disclosure documents, ensuring compliance with employment laws, helping to resolve avoidable disputes before they get out of hand, or, when necessary, providing zealous, aggressive representation in lawsuits and arbitration. We are, in effect, both “outside general counsel” and “hired gun” litigators.

Existing and former clients of the Ross Law Firm can attest that we’re up to the job and that we consider their matters much more than mere “files” on our desks. We take pride not only in achieving client goals, but also in providing prudent, cost-conscious advice in language that clients can understand.

We welcome you to our website and hope you find it informative.

A Satisfied Client:

We have been clients of Dave’s for several years now. Dave has represented us in very complex issues, including antitrust, franchising, and business tort issues. He has represented us in arbitration, Federal Court, state court, administrative proceedings and continuously advised us in day-to-day business activities. Dave has a particular strength in litigating before a trier of fact. One reason for this is that he has always been better prepared than the opposing attorney. I would put Dave up against any large national law firm without hesitating. The other strength that stands out is that he has always done what he says he was going to do and done it on time.
